Beethoven & Brahms with the San Francisco Symphony

SF Symphony performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2 and Brahms's Second Symphony

As part of its popular "Friday 6.5 Series," the San Francisco Symphony presents two favorite classics with special guest conductor Christoph Eschenbach -- Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 2, and Johannes Brahms's Symphony No. 2.  The young French pianist David Fray will be the soloist for the Beethoven Piano Concerto. The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 7th.

The special Friday series features introductory comments and personal perspectives by the conductor before each piece on the program. The early start time also allows for an informal post-performance supper at a nearby restaurant, for those who are interested.

PCNC's tickets are in an upper box close to the stage, with an excellent view of the orchestra and the soloist. Tickets are only $28 for PCNC members and their guests, or $35 for non-members and their guests.

Please send your reservation by e-mail as soon as possible to Michele Bateman '97; michele_bateman [at] yahoo.com. Include your name, class, and mailing address.

Confirm your reservation with a check (payable to PCNC) mailed to: PCNC; 359 Church St; San Francisco CA 94114.
