Volunteer with PCNC!

Family friendly volunteer event! Join us after work on August 13th for volunteering and fun at the Sunnyvale Community Services Agency as we prepare backpacks for low-income students before the school year!

Please join other Princeton Bay Area Alumni at the Sunnyvale Community Services warehouse on the evening of August 13th!  We are excited to sponsor a post-work volunteer opportunity in the heart of Silicon Valley.  Sunnyvale Community Services needs volunteers to unwrap and repacking close to 1000 backpacks for low-income Sunnyvale students who are heading back to school.

Founded in 1970, Sunnyvale Community Services (SCS) is an independent, nonprofit emergency assistance agency. The organization's mission is to prevent homelessness and hunger for low-income families and seniors facing temporary crises.  SCS provides financial aid, food, and other support that prevents larger problems with more expensive solutions.  On average, more than 1,400 seniors and families receive supplemental bags of groceries each month and SCS could not accomplish this task without the participation of dedicated volunteers.

Location: 725 Kifer Road (between Fair Oaks and Wolfe), Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Date: August 13th from 6-8 pm

Event: Packing 1000 backpacks for low-income students
