Volunteer at Edgewood, San Francisco!

Cook breakfast for the children, then meet and eat with them in the cottages.

PCNC Community Service is gathering a group of alumni to volunteer at the Edgewood Breakfast Club on Saturday, July 13.  Edgewood Center for Children and Families (Edgewood) helps children and families take back their future by working with them to overcome severe challenges like abuse, neglect, mental illness and crisis.  The Breakfast Club offers an opportunity for volunteers to meet Edgewood’s children at the Vicente Campus and cook a breakfast for them.  The kids always appreciate a home cooked meal from people who truly care.

Volunteers must be 18 years or older, and willing to work in teams of 2 to 4 people.

Location: Main Campus, 1801 Vicente St. (at 29th Ave) in San Francisco

Date: Saturday, July 13, 2013

Time: 8:30am – 11:30am

Event: Cook breakfast for Edgewood children, then meet and eat with them.

If you plan to join us, you must RSVP to Lindsay at lindsay.turk@gmail.com as space is limited to 12 volunteers.  We can help coordinate carpooling if requested, otherwise plan to meet directly at the campus.  Orange attire is encouraged!
