PCNC Entrepreneurship Series- in San Francisco

Get to know other Bay Area Princeton entrepreneurs on August 7th in San Francisco. The speaker is Jim Smith, General Partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures.

What: This is a meeting of PCNC's Entrepreneurship series. There are a lot of Princeton folks in the startup scene, and PCNC wants to make it easier for everyone to connect. The topic of this talk is "Don't Forget the Sales Model!" 

About the Speaker: Jim Smith is a General Partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures. He has long had an interest in networking and infrastructure and the ways in which companies can make better use of the mountains of data collected and stored during the course of doing business. Jim has led investments in companies including Aryaka, GridIron, ParAccel, Mantara, Pluribus Networks and Xambala. He also holds a board seat with Medio. Jim received a doctorate in electrical engineering and a master's degree in industrial management from Stanford University. He also earned a bachelor's degree in computer systems engineering and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford. Learn more about the Mohr Davidow companies that leverage networking, cloud and applied analytics to drive large and emerging opportunities in verticals ranging from finance to online marketing to cleantech IT to healthcare.
