by Gioachino Rossini

Love—with the help of a cunning barber—conquers all! In this brilliant, joyous comedy featuring Rossini's wittiest and most charming score, a strong-willed young woman outwits a lecherous old man with the help of a wily, jack-of-all-trades barber.

Resident Conductor Giuseppe Finzi leads a charismatic cast featuring Daniela Mack, who sings Rossini "with technical command and expressive ease" (Opera News); the "smooth-voiced" Audun Iversen (New York Times), and Alek Shrader, who sang Tamino in San Francisco Opera's The Magic Flute in 2012 with "clarity and sweetness of tone" (San Francisco Chronicle).

This offer is subject to availability, and it is available through the special web page only, not by phone or in person. It expires Friday, November 22, 2013, at 11:59 pm. The offer is valid only for the performance on November 23rd, and not for tickets previously purchased. Limit 8 tickets per person. All sales are final; no refunds or exchanges on special offers. Cast, programs, prices and schedules are subject to change.

We strongly suggest you order early as performances often sell out. Seating is assigned at the time of purchase; it is not reserved in advance for this offer.

The San Francisco Opera House is located at 301 Van Ness Avenue (at Grove Street).
