Bay Restoration with Save the Bay

On National Honeybee Day!

Join your fellow Tigers in helping keep the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve free of non-native plants, so that the native plants that support the local honeybees can thrive. We will be joining a Save the Bay event on the morning of Saturday, August 15. The usual format: about 30 minutes of introduction about the history of the San Francisco Bay, the Save the Bay organization, native plants, and the invasive plants that we will be weeding out. Save the Bay provides gloves and tools, so all you have to bring is yourself! Kids are welcome (children under 16 require presence of a parent or guardian).

Saturday, August 15 from 9:00 am to noon.

Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve—exact location to come.

Please RSVP to me at ccb@stanford.edu so that we can get a rough head count for StB (and so that I can send you more event details when I know them). See you there!
