We will have a private group tour of this rare collection of Italian Master Drawings, currently on visiting exhibition from our very own Princeton University Art Museum. Following the tour will be light refreshments and a short lecture provided by an expert at the Cantor Arts Center. Enjoy an exclusive and unique opportunity to learn more about this fantastic exhibit.

Works by Michelangelo, Bernini, and other Italian masters at the Cantor Arts Center: 500 Years of Italian Master Drawings from the Princeton University Art Museum on view May 22–August 24, 2015 at the Cantor Arts Center, Stanford University.

Nearly 100 dazzling and rarely seen drawings dating from the the early Renaissance to early Modernism, the 15th through the 20th centuries, will be on view in this exhibition. Beyond demonstrating the chronological and stylistic sweep of the history of Italian drawings, this thematically organized exhibition examines the pivotal role played by drawing, or “disegno,” in the Italian design process.
