TigerTalks on the Road: "AI and Computer Vision"

PEC is excited to announce the second TigerTalks On The Road event on Thursday, April 19 in Palo Alto, CA.

This TigerTalks on the Road panel event will discuss the hot, trending topic of "AI and Computer Vision." We are delighted that the faculty panelist will be Thomas Funkhouser, Princeton Professor of Computer Science and Head of the 3D Vision Lab on campus.

Computer vision researchers at Princeton, led by Tom and Professor Olga Russakovsky, focus on developing artificially intelligent systems that are able to reason about the visual world, and on building a variety of machine learning techniques. The team works collaboratively with colleagues in graphics, robotics, natural language processing, human-computer interaction, and neuroscience. Tom will be joined by alumni who operate in the computer vision space as founders, investors, and lawyers.

The evening will begin with a panel discussion and audience Q&A and then will be followed with a networking reception, co-hosted by Princeton Club of Northern California (PCNC) and Princeton Alumni Angels (PAA).
