| Eugene Ionesco's Victims of Duty at Cutting Ball Theater
Eugène Ionesco, legendary master of absurdist theater, returns to the EXIT with a rarely seen classic in a surprising and hilarious production by The Cutting Ball Theater. This undiscovered jewel from the 1950s is Ionesco’s most surreal and autobiographical play. An unsuspecting couple answers a knock at their door and a detective enters. What starts as a simple interrogation becomes an incredible journey through their past, present and future. Don’t miss your chance to see this tour-de-force production by the EXIT’s new resident theater company.
There was an article about Rob Melrose '92 and Paige Rogers '89 in July's PAW. Together they have run The Cutting Ball Theater in San Francisco for nearly a decade. There will be a talk back after this performance.

| Gather to discuss books with local alumnae
On the second Wednesday of each month, the PWN Book Club gathers in a member's home or an area restaurant to eat, chat, and (usually) discuss that month's literary selection. The location changes from month to month so we can be welcoming to alumnae from all over the Bay Area, and books are chosen by consensus with those who show up! Recent selections have included both fiction and non-fiction, modern and classic, from "Anna Karenina" to "Under the Banner of Heaven", "The Bookseller of Kabul", and "Tales of the City". New participants are welcome all the time. Please RSVP to Amanda Whitehead to be included on the Evite for upcoming meetings with details for each month's book selection and meeting location.

| Princeton vs. Harvard Pub Quiz |
11/12 |
6:30-9:30 |
San Francisco, CA |
Chet Carey '82 |
| Trivia contest between our two schools
Harvard recently bested Princeton in the U.S. News and World Report ranking of best national universities. The Cantabs surpassed us in the ratings for the first time in 13 years by 1/10 of a percentage point. Now is our chance to get even!
"Pub Quiz" is a trivia/knowledge contest between the Harvard Club of Northern California and PCNC, administered by Brainstormer.com. Trivia topics will include current events, pop culture, geography, history, music identification (“name that band”), and science/math, to name a few of the potential interrogative areas. We anticipate a minimum of about 5 teams per side (with approx. 4 persons per team). After 5-7 rounds, we will tally the average score of the Princeton teams, and weigh them against Harvard's scores to determine both bragging rights and who has earned some fantastic Brainstormer.com prizes. Sign up early, as this event is sure to fill up!
