Princetonians on the Net 4/1 6PM SF Gil Silberman
Internet Start-Up Social

Join us for the kick-off meeting of Internetworking West, a new social and business club for Princetonians who own, invest in, work for, or are otherwise involved in Internet and e-commerce start-up businesses - or would like to be.

Princeton graduates have been instrumental in the growth of the Internet, and it's about time we came out of our various offices, cubicles, and workstations, and met each other in person. We will get together, swap stories, have some fun, help each other out, and generally reinforce the extended Princeton network.

The event will be held in the South of Market law offices of Britton Silberman & Cervantez LLP in suite 332 of the Clocktower Building, 461 Second Street, San Francisco, from 6 until 8PM. It will be an informal opportunity for us to meet, socialize, and plan the future direction of the club. Please call Gil Silberman '86 or Susan Chan at 415-538-9000 for information or directions, or visit the firm web site at http://www.brittonlaw.com.

Sushi, sake, and wine will all be free in exchange for your email address. Thus, in keeping with the times, we have no revenue model. Afterwards, the party-hearty can take a brief walk up the street to the Sound Factory for a totally amazing idea-without-income, the 2nd annual Mozilla party (celebrating the release of Netscape as open source software) http://www.mozilla.org.

No RSVP necessary, but we would love to hear from you.

Mt. Tam Hike 4/17 10am Mt. Tam Dan Sullivan
Wildflowers on Mt. Tamalpais

This gentle 7-mile loop is one of Mt Tam's best hikes for spring wildflowers.

Meet at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 1999, at the Pantoll parking area midway to the summit of Mt Tamalpais.

Bring lunch, liquids, a windbreaker, and sunscreen. Call Dan Sullivan '63 at (415) 626-8153 for additional details and to arrange carpools from San Francisco. (The Pantoll parking area often fills up on weekends, despite the $5/car charge.)

Driving directions: Beginning at the Highway 1 exit from US 101, take Highway 1 North for about 3 miles, then bear right (uphill) onto Panoramic Highway. In another mile, Panoramic Highway bears slightly left (and uphill) at an irregular four-way junction.

The Pantoll parking area is about three miles further on the left-hand side of Panoramic Highway, across from the junction with the road to the Mt Tam summit. Allow 20-30 minutes for the slow and winding drive after you leave 101, and enjoy the scenery.
