Burt Malkiel will speak on investing in the new millenium. Burt is a specialist in the field of finance and currently serves as Chemical Bank Chairman’s Professor of Economics at Princeton University. His many writings cover the entire field of financial instruments, institutions and markets, and include the popular book, A Random Walk Down Wall Street. His newest book, Global Bargain Hunting: The Investor’s Guide to Profits in Emerging Markets, was published in 1998. He has also served as a member of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors during the Ford Administration and currently serves on the Board of Directors of several major corporations, including Prudential Insurance Company and The Vanguard Group of Investment Companies. Professor Malkiel is a former Chairman of the Economics Department and Director of the Financial Research Center at Princeton University. From 1981-1988, he was the Dean of the Yale Uni! versity School of Management. He received a MBA from Harvard Business School and a PhD from Princeton University. Join College Kids For Its Fourth Annual 5K Fun Run College Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping kids everywhere obtain a college education, meeting their academic potential. This event brings together almost 1,000 runners and community leaders for a 5 kilometer fun run and walk. Be part of the Princeton team. Show your school spirit and run with the orange and black.
