| Shakespeare's Classic Romantic Comedy with Marin
Shakespeare
Revel in the poetic
magic of Shakespeare’s most popular comedy. A Midsummer Night’s Dream features
former Pickle Circus and Cirque du Soleil star Diane Wasnak as Puck and a crew
of trained clowns (including Bonzer the dog) as fairies and fools. This is a
spectacular first introduction to Shakespeare for children (tickets just $15 for
18 years and under) and a delightful treat for adults, lunatics, lovers and
poets.
Dress warmly and bring a picnic. The theatre opens at 3:00 pm. Copious free
parking. Comfortable bench seating with backs. Bring seat cushions or blankets
or rent cushions for $1 each. The theatre cafe serves hot and cold drinks
including beer and wine, and snacks including hearty soups in bread bowls.
Producer Lesley Schisgall Currier ’84 will greet the group and give a pre-show
introduction at 3:40 pm.

| Scenic natural history coastal hike in Pt Reyes
Explore coastal,
woodland and grassland habitats on a comfortable hike along Point Reyes National
Seashore's Coast Trail loop. This 5-6 mile hike leads explorers down wide
winding trails past elk, deer, sea stars and seals and back again. Enjoy the
eclectic mix of California ecosystems and the great views that Point Reyes
offers, with Ashley Conrad-Saydah '99 and Dan Sullivan '63. Bring sunscreen,
windbreaker, lunch, and whatever you want to drink. You may want a camera and
binoculars. RSVP to Ashley is helpful, but not required.
Driving directions: Take the San Anselmo/Sir Francis Drake exit from 101. Go
west on Sir Francis Drake Blvd about 21 miles to Hwy 1 in Olema. Turn right
(north) on Hwy 1, then make an immediate left onto Bear Valley Rd. In less than
half a mile turn left at a big red barn and a sign for Pt Reyes National
Seashore information, and continue to the Bear Valley Visitor Center. Allow an
hour for the drive from 101 to the Visitor Center.

| Help organize children's events at benefit for AIDS
research
Join Princeton alumni in
helping One Brick, a Bay Area volunteer group, handle children's events at the
annual Champions Run for Children, a benefit for the pediatric HIV/AIDS program
at UCSF Children's Hospital. We'll help with registration, organizing runs,
supervising the bouncy castle, distribution of T-shirts and goodie bags and
handing ribbons to kids as they cross the finish line. We're also invited to
join One Brick volunteers for lunch at a nearby pub.
