Sip some holiday spirits at Zibibbo

Join Harvard and Yale alums for the final hoorah for Silicon Valley happy hours before the year end. Zibibbo is a popular venue in Palo Alto, with eye-catching decor. Citysearch writes: "An outdoor garden with a fountain and olive trees serves as the entrance. The garden's path continues indoors to connect two very different dining areas. The more formal room is bathed in the deep blues and rich golds of the Mediterranean...the more casual room, dotted with pretty, multicolored tiles, buzzes to the sound of a huge exhibition kitchen." Say goodbye to happy hour acquaintances before leaving for holiday break or order some mediterranean tapas and get acquainted with some new friends. For more information, please contact the organizer, Peter Kahng (Harvard), president@harvardclub-siliconvalley.org or Emily Koster '99 (see contact info below).

Help kids build and decorate gingerbread houses

Kick off the holiday season by helping kids craft gingerbread homes!

The Bay Area Discovery Museum, a place that lets children explore nature and culture through art, science and media exhibits, is hosting a Gingerbread Extravaganza just in time for the holidays.

PCNC volunteers will assist youngters in creating their tasty masterpieces by organizing materials and helping assemble and decorating the houses. This event was a big hit two years ago, and we're hoping for a big turnout this year!

Space is limited so please get your responses in early.

Directions: From San Francisco, cross the Golden Gate Bridge and exit on Alexander Avenue. Follow the signs to East Fort Baker and the Bay Area Discovery Museum. From 101 heading south: Take the last Sausalito exit just before the Golden Gate Bridge and follow the signs to East Fort Baker and the Bay Area Discovery Museum.
