| Help fellow alumni build shelves, paint benches and plant
flowers
Start the new year by
rolling up your sleeves and giving back to the community! We'll build shelves,
paint benches and bleachers and plant flowers and shrubs at this playground in
San Francisco's Sunset district. Then, we'll grab lunch and refreshments at a
local establishment. The West Sunset Playground is located on Ortega Street
between 39th and 41st streets, accessible via highway 1/19th Street or the Great
Highway.

| Finding the right school for your children
Come join an
evening discussion of straight talk on finding good schools in the
San Francisco Bay Area. Our distinguished panel includes Carey Davis
’73, Director of Presidio Hill School, Susan Vogel, best-selling
author of Private Schools of San Francisco & Marin Counties (K-8)
and Private High Schools of the San Francisco Bay Area, and a representative
from Parents for Public Schools.
The panelists will give expert information on topics such as: the
types of questions parents should ask when considering schools,
what are the best resources for assessing public and private schools
in the Bay Area, and the advantages of both private and public schools.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
RSVP helpful, but not required.
