Tigers are grabbing drinks in Palo Alto at The Rose and Crown

Princeton Alumns,

We're catching up over a few drinks together Friday Nov. 5th from 7 to 9pm at The Rose and Crown, off of University Ave. Please feel welcome to bring friends and family. You'll be meeting some new Tigers that have just moved to the area, seeing some friends you might have lost touch with, and meeting some great new folks. All the Bay Area Tigers are out and about for Palo Alto Pub Nights, the First Friday of each month.

When: Friday, Nov 5th, 7-9pm
Where: The Rose and Crown, 547 Emerson Street
Palo Alto, CA 94301,
Who: Please look for some friendly orange clad Tigers
Rose and Crown Info:
http://www.theroseandcrownpub.net/

"The Rose and Crown, arguably the best pub in Palo Alto. This is one of those pre-fab English places, so bring darts if you play (I know for a fact they have darts behind the bar, but if you ask to check them out the bar staff will probably tell you that they "don't do that anymore."). They have thirteen taps including Whitbread and Double-Diamond (rarely seen in the US) and a wide selection of bottles, as well as a choice of obscure UK beers in 'draught-flow' cans." from http://www.wohlmut.com/beer/pubcrawl.html

Can't make this event? Please join us for our next Princeton Pub Night in Palo Alto -- Friday, Dec. 3rd, 7-9pm at The Old Pro's, 2865 El Camino, Palo Alto. (650) 325-2070.

Zinfandel Tasting

Join the Princeton Club for another fabulous night of wine-tasting at the London Wine Bar in the financial district of San Francisco. This evening we will be tasting a series of Zinfandels. Though the history of Zinfandel can be traced through Italy back to Croatia, it is only in California that winemakers have exploited its true potential. We will taste Zinfandels from throughout California (including some regions that you might not expect to produce great wine) and from classic producers as well as interesting newcomers. A variety of Zinfandel friendly appetizers will accompany the tasting. This event is for anyone who enjoys a good glass of red wine.
