Mini-Reunions 6/10 12-5   Heather Kellman '99
West-Coast Mini-Reunions

Join us for mini-reunions here on the West Coast!

The Princeton Club of Northern California Executive Committee has
discussed the idea of a west coast mini-reunion for a few years now and this year we are going to make it happen.

We wanted to give those alumni in an "off" reunion year (as well as those who are celebrating a major reunion) a chance to celebrate reunions and Princeton with local alumni. We will have food and drinks in an outside venue, and potentially other Reunions type activities. If you can't get back to campus (or don't want to travel there) this year, you can still have some Reunions-type fun here at home.

We are currently working out the logistics of the event. Please let us know if you are interested in attending, and we will forward on the details when they are available.

We hope you will be able to join us and re-create the Princeton reunion spirit here on the west coast.

Filoli Estate Tour 6/25 1-3:30 Woodside Dan Sullivan '63
Visit Filoli gardens and country house

Step back a century to join your fellow Princetonians for a self-guided tour of the Filoli estate, a large country house with a stunning 16-acre formal garden, surrounded by the undeveloped woodlands of the Crystal Springs watershed. Filoli was a private residence from 1917 until 1975, when it was opened to the public through the National Trust for Historic Preservation. We will meet at the Visitor Center at 1 p.m. and then take a slow walk through the garden, which is divided into several individual "rooms," each with its own separate design. After we've had our fill of the garden, we will take a look at the ornate public rooms on the ground floor of the house. We'll finish the tour by 3 p.m., in time for a snack at the Filoli Cafe.

Driving directions: From I-280, take the Edgewood Road exit west a short distance to its end at Canada Road. Turn right and go 1.25 miles to the second chain link gate on the left, where you will see the guard station at the entrance to the property.
