Windermere Real Estate Rowing Classic features hundreds of collegiate rowers

The Windermere Real Estate Rowing Classic is the Bay Area's premier collegiate rowing event, sponsored by Stanford University and Windermere Real Estate. As in years past, Princeton University will be well-represented by its perennial national champion Women's Lightweight Crew.

Since 2003, the annual Windermere Collegiate Crew Classic regatta is held each spring in Redwood Shores, California. This unique invitational regatta features two days of Henley style racing and festivities. The event has grown to nearly 1,000 athletes participating in over 100 races between the nation's top university rowers and more than 400 rowers from local rowing clubs and high school teams.

This two-day regatta and free community festival takes place on Saturday, April 14 from 9a.m. to 6p.m., and Sunday, April 15 from 9a.m. to 5p.m. As the event draws closer, check www.goprincetontigers.com for exact racing times for the Princeton Women's Lightweight Crew team.

Don't miss one of the most anticipated rowing events on the West Coast!

Big Basin Redwoods is California's oldest state park (established 1902). In addition to its ancient redwoods, it has some of the Bay Area's finest waterfalls. Meanwhile, Dan Sullivan '63 will lead a somewhat more leisurely walk along the Skyline-to-the-Sea Trail that may get as far as Berry Creek Falls (8 miles round trip). Princeton friends and family are welcome. For more information about the park, see www.bigbasin.org
