| Professional Indoor Lacrosse (Scholarship Fundraiser) - San Jose Stealth vs. Portland Lumberjax
EAMON McENEANEY SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER
Remember the excitement of watching the Cornell Lacrosse team? Join CAANC at HP Pavilion in San Jose to watch the non-stop, hard-hitting action of professional indoor Lacrosse as the San Jose Stealth take on the Portland Lumberjax. Our tickets are in the lower bowl, only 5 - 8 rows from the glass. As a special offer, tickets are $20 for both CAANC members and other Ivy League alumni. Tickets for Youth and Seniors are only $15 each.
In addition to watching great lacrosse, a portion of the price of each ticket will be donated to the Cornell Athletic Dept. Scholarship Fund in the name of EAMON McENEANEY, Class of 1977. A member of the Cornell Athletic Hall of Fame, Eamon was a three-time All-America and was Division I lacrosse MVP in 1977 when he led Cornell to its second consecutive NCAA Lacrosse Championship. A hero during the first bombing of the World Trade Center in New York in the early 1990's, Eamon perished during the attack on 9/11/2001.

| Gather to discuss books with area alumnae.
On the second Wednesday of each month, the PWN Book Club gathers in a member's home or an area restaurant to eat, chat, and (usually) discuss that month's literary selection. The location changes from month to month so we can be welcoming to alumnae from all over the Bay Area, and books are chosen by consensus with those who show up! Recent selections have included both fiction and non-fiction, modern and classic, from "Uncle Tom's Cabin" to "The Botany of Desire", "The Virgin Suicides", and "Ender's Game". New participants are welcome all the time.

| Museum Tour of Drama and Desire at the Asian Art Museum! |
4/20 |
9:15-10:30 |
San Francisco |
Rusti Icenogle '94 |
| Private tour of the dramatic and sexy special exhibition, Drama and Desire: Japanese Paintings from the Floating World, 1690 - 1850
Spoiler Alert/Parent Advisory: This exhibition contains adult content. Please plan accordingly. If you have questions, please contact the organizer.
Come view these vivid and fascinating images of the Edo period entertainment quarter: beautiful and colorful courtesans, graceful geisha and fabulous actors, painted by some of the era's masters and most recognizable names including Hokusai and Hiroshige. The Asian Art Museum is the sixth and final stop for this world-traveling exhibition organized by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, which owns the world's largest and finest collection of Ukiyo-e (floating world) paintings. For the first time in 100 years, these 80 rare and exquisite paintings are on view to the public. The colors and scenes are simply amazing!
This docent-led tour is private, and starts at 9:30 am before the museum opens at 10:00 am. Participation is limited to 20, so please RSVP in advance to secure your spot. The tour will last about one hour, and interested attendees can gather in the Museum's Cafe Asia after the tour to talk about the exhibition. The tour is open to Princeton friends and family.
Please be warned ahead of time: as this tour starts before the Museum opens, you will need to arrive at the Museum at 9:15. Once the group enters the Museum, you will not be able to enter until the Museum opens at 10:00 am for the general public. The early start time is worth it: during the first half of the tour, we will most likely have the exhibition to ourselves, with the exclusive attention of one of the Museum's highly knowledgeable docents.

| What Kind of President Do We Want? |
4/29 |
12-1:30 |
San Francisco |
David Marshak '66 |
| A precept about choice.
I have been observing this process since Kennedy ran against Nixon. People figure out who they want. Then they say what they want to see in our next president. It always matches the guy they want.
Let us treat this like a Princeton precept in Politics 101. We will talk about what we want our next president to be like. We will try to prioritize what we want. We will not talk about which candidate we want to win. We will not talk about which party we want to win.
These events are always interesting. No idea is bad. No one gets shouted down. We exchange ideas and learn from the synergy.
We can also talk about future politics precepts:
What do we do to help our candidates win?
What will the future of American politics be?
Can we think up an objective way to evaluate how the people we elect are doing?
Whatever you want to talk about next.
